She holds a degree in Modern Languages and Literature from the University of Coimbra and has over 25 years of teaching experience, 12 of which are in Portuguese as a Foreign Language. Ana's classes are dynamic and interactive, focusing on conversational Portuguese and real-life applications, getting students to understand and apply language structures accurately. Her classes also include cultural and historical references, aiming at students' knowledge and engagement. Being the director of the drama group at school she brings some of her theatrical skills to the lessons, stimulating the students to engage in role-plays and storytelling. In addition to theatre, she loves reading, writing, exploring new places in the world, especially unexplored sites in Portugal to share with her students!
